Providence, Rhode Island’s Boo City create a gorgeous mix of blues-rock and funk that seamlessly incorporates elements of everything from country and blues to indie rock when the mood strikes. Vocalist Tai Awolaju’s smoky, sultry vocals anchor this band that also includes a slick horn section and funky basslines, making it a fixture on the local music scene and beyond.

Presented by the NeighborWorks Blackstone River Valley, a nonprofit community development corporation that works to enrich neighborhood life throughout Northern Rhode Island, in partnership with the Office of Woonsocket Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt, the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council, the Downtown Woonsocket Collaborative, Adam Brunetti and Michael Martin.
